Rift Safari
Traveling along the Rift valley: Tarangire Treetops

back

Treetops lodge is located in the Tarangire Conservation Area, the protected wild land bordering Tarangire National Park dotted by huge baobas.

That's a beautiful lodge, where the african style concept has been masterfully reinterpreted. Architectural solutions and interiors surprise for their simplicity and effectiveness. A giant Baobab will welcome you on arrival. The articulated main building which incorpotates it and which contains the reception, the bar and the dining room, is a sophisticated interplay of spaces, lights and colors; the combination of materials, the choice of decorative objects and furnishings create a relaxing and special atmosphere that contrasts pleasantly with the wild natural surroundings; overlooking the forest and raised on a large wooden platform the small swimming pool completes the lodge's facilities.

The 20 spacious suites, literally perched on baobabs and acacia trees surrounding the lodge and perfectly blended among the green foliage are sufficiently spaced out to ensure the level of privacy typical of a luxury lodge . Furnishings solutions are modern and original. The walls of the rooms are made of canvas in order to be removed by the staff during the day to ensure the highest sightings opportunity just from your bed. The property is located close to a water hole which attracts animals and especially elephants.

The lodge also offer walking safari and night game drives in the conservation area.

Tarangire Treetops is a charming and original lodge that will not disappoint those who are looking for some fine relax beyond game driving.
Immediately after Swala camp it is our long time favourite place in Tarangire. When both fully booked and you are ready to accept a less conventional, more outdoorsy kind of accommodation then we would recommend you Oliver's Camp and Lemala Camp Tarangire.
