Serengeti Savanna Camp is a medium size mobile tented camp moving from central Serengeti to the southern Serengeti plains. From December to mid of April the camp is located nearby Ndutu. This area hosts throughout the year some interesting resident species but during these months, with the migration moving all around and straddling the Serengeti / Ngorongoro Conservation Area borders, it definitely delivers the best of itself.

This is rather basic and unpretentious camp however able to deliver all essential services to travellers. It consists of 13 tents. Each tent has 2 twin beds or a queen size double bed [triples can be arranged on request but note that you will not have much room left since tents are not very large], en suite bathroom with running water in basin, chemical loo and shower [hot water for the shower [20 litres] is supplied by the camp staff at the agreed time]. Electricity is provided by solar panels and accumulated into batteries for night supply however there are no sockets in the rooms and mobiles and video devices need to be charged at the bar.

The camp is complemented by a mess tent [without lounge] and by the unfailing campfire.

Serengeti Savanna Camp accepts also children under 6 years although we believe that lodges are more suitable for them.
Remember that no camp is fenced so children should be accompanied by an adult at all time.
