Day 1 and 2
Visited park: West Kilimanjaro
Dinner and overnight: Ndarakwai ranch
In these two days you will explore a territory dominated by the majestic Kilimanjaro Mountain. If you love trekking you cross the rainforest and reach the Shira plateau and the moor at 3400 m. Alternatively you might opt for a nature walk at the foot of the volcano or interact with the Masai people ... Sunrise and sunset are the best time of the day to see the snowy peak of Kilimanjaro.
Day 3
Visited Park: Arusha National Park
Focus on: canoe safari
Dinner and overnight: River Trees
After breakfast you will continue your trip through the wilderness finally reaching Arusha National Park which landscape is dominated by the Mount Meru [4566 m.] the second highest peak of Tanzania. You will explore the park by car but also by and canoe which allows you to closely approach the lake shores without frightening animals who drink and to sight the multitude of waterfowls ... If water is not your element then iyou might opt for a walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger.
Day 4
Visited Park: Lake Manyara National Park
Dinner and overnight: Tloma Mountain Lodge

Day 5
Visited Park: Serengeti south-east and central
Dinner and overnight: Serengeti Kati Kati
In between one rain and another this part of the Serengeti is reached by herds of zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and antelopes. The area is renown for the high concentration of cheetahs as well as for the presence of lions. You will then reach at sunset the Seronera valley, actually one of the best spot in whole continent to sight leopards ...
Day 6
Visited Park: Serengeti central and south-west
Dinner and overnight: Ndutu Safari Lodge
Today you will move away from central Serengeti reaching Lake Ndutu by evening. You will game drive in Serengeti counterclockwise along remote tracks leaving behing most visitors. Along the way you might encounter herds of buffaloes, lions, cheetah, leopards, elephants and giraffes, wildebeest migratory herds and if lucky ... rhinos!
Day 7
Visited Park: Ndutu [both Serengeti & Ngorongoro side]
Dinner and overnight: Ndutu Safari Lodge
Along with lions and one of the most relevant population of cheetahs of the entire Serengeti eco-system the area of Ndutu
might give you the opportunity to sight some of the less common cats species such as caracals or serval cats or African wildcats. Since this is also calvin season, at this time of the year the presence of predators intensifies. Should migratory herds be scattered around you can head out with your private car into the vast plains ...
Day 8
Visited Park: north-eastern sector of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge
This is a remote and little explored area which we love to include in our itineraries when rains have come to green up pastures. Game driving toward the Gol Mountains can be good for the wildebeest migration but also for predators. Unplanned encounter with members of the Masai tribe are also possible.
Day 9

Day 10
Return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport by 4x4. Time permitting visit Mto wa Mbu market or enjoy a visit and hot lunch in a coffee plantation [the visit to the coffee plantation has to be requested at the time of booking]. |
