Day 1 and 2
Visited park: West Kilimanjaro
Dinner and overnight: Ndarakwai ranch
In these two days you will explore a territory dominated by the majestic Kilimanjaro Mountain. If you love trekking you cross the rainforest and reach the Shira plateau and the moor at 3400 m. Alternatively you might opt for a nature walk at the foot of the volcano or interact with the Masai people ... Sunrise and sunset are the best time of the day to see the snowy peak of Kilimanjaro.

Day 3
Visited Park: Arusha National Park
Focus on: canoe safari
Dinner and overnight: River Trees
After breakfast you will continue your trip through the wilderness finally reaching Arusha National Park which landscape is dominated by the Mount Meru [4566 m.] the second highest peak of Tanzania. You will explore the park by car but also by and canoe which allows you to closely approach the lake shores without frightening animals who drink and to sight the multitude of waterfowls ... If water is not your element then you might opt for a walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger.

Day 4
Visited Park: Lake Manyara National Park
Dinner and overnight: Isoitok Camp
A lush evergreen forest and large flocks of white pelicans, gray pelicans, flamingos, storks, cormorants beyond elephants, buffalos, giraffe and hippos ... if lucky tree-climbing lions.

Day 5
Visited park: Serengeti central
Dinner and overnight: Serengeti Kati Kati
In central Serengeti the progression of the dry season forces gazelles and antelopes to gather along the permanent water sources and rivers of Seronera which is now beginning to host what will soon become the highest concentration of lions, leopards and cheetahs of all Africa ...

Day 6
Visited park: Serengeti central and western corridor
Dinner and overnight: Serengeti Kati Kati
Your game drive today will focus along the course of the Grumeti River and up to Kirawira where, if lucky, you might witness some crossings. The branches of the trees along the riverside are also home to white colobus monkeys and leopards while the river itself hosts huge Nile crocodiles and hippos. At last you will return to central Serengeti to enjoy a game drive at sunset along the Seronera river courses.

Day 7
Visited park: western-central Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Dinner and overnight: Ndutu safari Lodge
Another morning devoted to game driving in central Serengeti exploring at sunrise the river courses of Serenora, one of the most strategic area of the continent for leopard sightings and after breakfast the scenic Moru Kopjes, one of the largest and most beautiful granite formation around the Serengeti ..... the afternoon will intead be devoted to the Ndutu and Masek lakes which both support a good deal of resident wildlife including one of the most important population of cheetahs of the entire Serengeti.

Day 8
Visited park: Ngorongoro crater
Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House
Today you will explore the famous caldera, one of the most fascinating places of Africa. Thanks to the variety of habitats [long and short grasses savannahs, acacia forest, woodland, clearings, swamps, freshwater and soda lakes] it hosts all year round about 30.000 animals ...

Day 9
Breakfast and return back to Arusha. Time permitting visit Mto wa Mbu market or enjoy a visit to a coffee plantation with hot lunch [the visit to the coffee plantation has to be requested at the time of booking].

In West Kilimanjaro: naturalistic walking safari and visit to a Masai settlement. Alternatively Shira Plateau daily trekking at 3400 m.

At Arusha National Park: canoe safari in the Small Momela Lake, multitude of giraffes, white colobus monkeys, great variety of resident and migratory waterfowl. Alternatively walking safari with armed ranger.

At Lake Manyara: dense groundwater forest, baboons and blue monkeys, buffaloes, elephants and other herbivores, large flocks. If lucky tree-climbing lions.

In western Serengeti: migratory herds of wildebeest and zebras. The lucky ones of you will assist to the crossings of the River home to huge Nile crocodiles and hippos. Great variey of birds, leopards and black and white colobus monkeys.

In central Serengeti: plenty of gazelles; high concentration of cats and in particular leopards, lions and cheetahs ... hyenas, jackals, vultures and marabou ... herbivores and other resident species including the little Bat-eared Fox.

In western-central Serengeti: huge scenic kopjes, herds of buffaloes, lions and smallers cats such as serval and caracal, if lucky ... rhinos !

In Ndutu: very few vehicles around and virtually private game drives, off-tracks game driving, excellent photographic opportunities, good variety of birds, resident lions and cheetahs and rare species such as striped hyenas

In the Ngorongoro crater: zebras, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, lions and cheetahs ... Leopards if lucky along ith serval cats.

Camaleonte
