Boscimani Hadzabe, Lake Eyasi

Day 1
Visited park: Lake Manyara National Park
Dinner and overnight: Kisima Ngeda Tented Lodge
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport you will be met by your private guide and car and depart to Lake Manyara NP to enjoy a gentle game driving. A dense groundwater forest, small savannahs, swamps and reed beds characterize this land considered a bird watchers paradise ...

Day 2
Visited Area: Lake Eyasi
Dinner and overnight: Tloma mountain Lodge
Taking part to everyday life of a tribe is, in our opinion, the most authentic way to approach a different culture ... today you will wake up at 5 to hunt with the Hadzabe men or alternatively to gather herbs, fruit, roots, berries and tubers with their women ...

Day 3
Visited park: Serengeti central
Dinner and overnight: Serengeti Kati Kati
In central Serengeti the progression of the dry season forces animals to adapt to different lifestyles than in green season ... Gazelles and antelopes have to gather along permanent rivers and water sources ... predators are compelled to compress their territory close to the same water sources ... Seronera is hosting the largest population of cats in Africa ...

Day 4
Visited park: Serengeti central and surroundings
Dinner and overnight: Serengeti Kati Kati
A full day out in the bush ... at dawn to sight predators hunting or returning from their nightly hunting forays and to witness cubs playing ... nearby the river courses where predators wait their preys moving along very predictable routes ... driving through alternative and more remote locations in the afternoon in order to enjoy a truly excellent wilderness experience where almost no other cars will be met ... lunch at the camp or pic nic, since you are travelling with private car and vehicle you can entirely dictate the pace of your day.

Note on the Serengeti migration:
Between the end of June and the beginning of July the wildebeest migration usually abandons the western corridor heading north, to the Serengeti Mara region. Should it be possible to intercept a large group along its way your guide will certainly inform you about the opportunity however, with this itinerary, it is usually better to focus on central Serengeti since Serengeti Mara [where herds will be gathering together] cannot be reached with a daily excursion from Seronera and no other part of the park will offer you the same high concentration of predators and cats as Seronera does. If you are interested in witnessing the wildebeest migration we would recommend to spend at least 4 full days in Serengeti combining the visit of both the central and northern sectors of the park, see for instance our safari 707 or 708].

Day 5
Visited park: Ngorongoro crater
Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House
Today you will explore the famous caldera, one of the most fascinating places of Africa. Thanks to the variety of habitats [long and short grasses savannahs, acacia forest, woodland, clearings, swamps, freshwater and soda lakes] it hosts all year round about 30.000 animals ...

Day 6
Visited park: Tarangire
Dinner and overnight: Tarangire Safari Lodge
In July, in Tarangire, dry season should be quite underway and at least in the second half of the month almost all animals that had left the park in green season given the availability of seasonal water sources away from the river should have come back ... wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, impala, reedbuck, eland, waterbuck, hartebeest, greater and lesser kudu ... and lions, leopards and cheetahs are all around ... matchless for the huge number of elephants coming back ... unforgettable the majestic and enigmatic baobas that dot the north of the park.

Day 7
One last morning of game drive before coming back to Arusha. Should your flight depart late then we can extend your game drive in Tarangire until late afternoon
