Day 1
Visited park: Tarangire
Dinner and overnight: Swala Camp
Upon arrival at Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport you will be met by your private guide and car and depart to Tarangire NP.
August, September and October are great months for Tarangire since the entire cast of migratory animals should have definitely returned into the park concentrating along the river valley and swamps, including felines ... Matchless, at this time of the year, by any other park of the northern circuit is the huge number of elephants that one can encounter: herds counting up to 100 individuals are no exception and there is a valley where at a glance we have been able to estimate something like 1000 individuals ... unforgettable the majestic and enigmatic baobabs that dot the north of the park.

Day 2
Visited park: Tarangire
Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
A new day of game driving in Tarangire that you will leave late in the afternoon in order to reach your lodgelocated on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater ...

Day 3
Visited park: Ngorongoro crater
Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
After breakfast you will depart with your guide and car to spend the day game driving into the famous caldera with picnic lunch. Since you can entirely dictate the pace you might decide to leave the crater as late as possible or to return to the lodge after the picnic to relax.

Day 4
Visited park: Serengeti central
Dinner and overnight: Lemala Ewanjan
In central Serengeti the severe dryness forced animals to adapt to different lifestyles than in green season. ... Gazelles and antelopes had to gather along permanent rivers and water sources ... predators are compelled to compress their territory close to the same water sources ... Seronera is now hosting the largest population of cats in Africa ...

Day 5
Visited park: Serengeti central and surroundings
Dinner and overnight: Lemala Ewanjan
A full day out in the bush ... at dawn to sight predators hunting or returning from their nightly hunting forays and to witness cubs playing ... nearby the river courses where predators wait their preys moving along very predictable routes ... driving through alternative and more remote locations in the afternoon in order to enjoy a truly excellent wilderness experience where almost no other cars will be met ... lunch at the camp or pic nic, since you are travelling with private car and vehicle you can entirely dictate the pace of your day.

Day 6
Visited park: Serengeti north-eastern
Dinner and overnight: Klein's camp
A day of break to explore the savanna on foot accompanied by a professional naturalistic guide and a night game drive in the private concession of the lodge ...

Day 7
Visited park: Serengeti north-east and Mara
Dinner and overnight: Sayari
In August the wildebeest migration has usually reached the Serengeti Mara region and river crossing ... one of the most impressive scenes that you can witness ... should be in full swing ... After breakfast you will leave for Serengeti Mara where you will arrive after about 2,5 hours game driving accross the park ... once there you will start game driving along the Mara River banks looking for wildebeest herds ready to cross ...

Day 8
Visited park: Serengeti Mara and Lamai wedge
Dinner and overnight: Sayari
Moving along the Mara river banks you might be able to sight elephants herds passing from one side to the other, large families of hippos resting in the water, huge Nile crocodiles and with a little luck wildebeest crossing the river... the Lamai wedge on the other side of the river and the beginning of the Mara watershed where little by little the acacia groves give way to the open savanna. This is one of the most remote areas of Serengeti, topographically very similar to Kenyan Masai Mara which extends beyond the border, here you can possibly sight wildebeest herds but also many other herbivores along with their predators although sightings of cats never reach that of central Serengeti at this time of the year.

Day 9
After breakfast take your last game drive in Serengeti along the way to the Kogatende airstrip. A morning flight will scoop you from here to Arusha or to Kilimanjaro airport. Should you wish your journey to continue to the beach then we can extend the domestic flight to the coast or to the islands of Tanzania ...
