Day 5
Visited park: Serengeti western corridor
Dinner and overnight: Kirawira tented Camp
A full day out in the bush exploring the Grumeti valley where, in June the wildebeest migration should have gathered. Your game drive today will focus along the river banks up to Kirawira where, if lucky, you might witness some crossings. The branches of the trees along the riverside are home to white colobus monkeys and leopards while the river itself, despite being reduced to a stream, is still packed full with crocodiles and hippos ...

Day 6
Visited park: Serengeti western corridor
Dinner and overnight: Kirawira tented Camp
Not all individuals that make up the migration wade the river, some of them are usually able to avoid the crossing and linger to graze in the Ndabaka and Dutwa plains comprised between the Grumeti and the Mbalageti Rivers. Since the majority of cars will concentrate nearby the river banks to sight crossings, game driving in these plains could be a rewarding experience and you should consider to spend here half a day ... of course you can still decide to focus entirely along the river banks and, should you wish, you can also leave after breakfast with pic nic lunch to Lake Victoria shores, visit a local fishermen village and enjoy some fishing and canoeing ...

Day 7
After breakfast take your last game drive in Serengeti along the way to the Grumeti airstrip. A morning flight will scoop you from here to Arusha or to Kilimanjaro airport.
