Migration Camp is a medium size high specification tented camp remotely located in north-eastern Serengeti, aside a large kopje, along the Grumeti River banks.

The camp consists of 20 tents, raised on wooden decks overlooking the surrounding acacia groves, very well appointed and offering all comforts. They all have a double bed or two twin beds [on request it is possible to add a third bed for an adult sharing with two other adults; only in case of children it is possible to add two extra beds] ; en-suite bathroom with solar heated rain-shower, flush toilet, running water in basin. Electricity is supplied by generator and available 24 Hr. Each room has hair dryer and safety box.

Migration Camp is complemented by the lounge where internet is available, the restaurant, the swimming pool and by a fireplace deck. On request and against payment of a supplement dinner can be served al fresco under the starry sky

The camp also arranges short walking safari along the river banks escorted by an armed ranger and guide.
Note that walking safari never aim to get close to wildlife.

Between July and August and again between October and November this area comes into his own with the wildebeest migrations moving across but, since this is just a transit zone, it is extremely difficult to predict if and how long herds will linger around. Usually we do not propose Migration Camp to people seriously interested to migration viewing [preferring in such a case to head up northwards to Serengeti Mara] and we rather prefer to offer it to those travellers in search of a secluded, place where to relax surrounded by nature, to whom game driving and animals sighting are just a secondary aspect of the trip [acacia groves and shrubs do not facilitate viewing].
