Mawe Ninga is a permanent tented camp located in the Tarangire National Park.
This is pleasant, although rustic and simple camp, French-owned but practically run by Masai.
The 12 tents are scattered on the top of a hill and wedged among large granite kopjes overlooking Lake Burunge. They are raised on wooden platforms, accessed by stairs and all have en-suite bathroom and shower. Due to the scarcity of water you are requested to shower once per day. The wc has 8 flash capacity per day. Electricity and hot water for the shower are provided by solar panels and therefore mobiles and video cameras need to be charged at the bar while hot water is normally available in the evening instead than in the morning. There's no running water in the sink but just a jug of water to wash your face.

Like all camps located within the parks, Tarangire Safari Lodge is not fenced. Make sure you're accompanied by a camp's guard when moving around. Children should always stay with you.
