Lemala Camp Mara is a small mobile tented camp delivering a relatively high level of service and moving from northern to southern Serengeti/Ngorongoro Conservation Area [when located in the southern plains its name is Lemala Camp Ndutu]. The camp is set up in northern Serengeti from July to October. This sector of the park hosts throughout the year many resident species but, in these four months with the wildebeest migration roaming all around and crossing the river from one side to another while straddling the border between Kenya and Tanzania, it really becomes the best place of Serengeti for migration viewing.

The camp consists of 12 wide safari tents [each can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children] well spaced out in order to grant an adequate level of privacy. Each tent has all the necessary furnishing to make it more than comfortable, two queen-size beds or a super king double bed, 24 Hr solar powered lighting and batteries for night supply [at this camp mobile phones, cameras and video devices can be recharged directly in your own tent], tea and coffee facilities, wooden floor and rugs, en-suite bathroom with running water in basin, flush loo, while hot water for the shower [40 litres] is supplied morning and evening at the time agreed with the camp staff.

The camp is complemented by a central mess tent with lounge and dining area and by the unfailing campfire.

Lemala Camp Mara also arrange 2 to 4 nights long walking safari setting up a fly camp and sleeping in dome tents out in the bush. If you are interested feel free to ask us further info.
