Eco lodge Africa, also known as Grumeti Luxury Tented Camp is a small size permanent tented camp located in a private concession in the grumeti reserve, just outside Serengeti N.P. about 40 min. driving from Ikoma gate.

The lodge provides a relatively high level of service and consists of 10 large tents raised on stilts. Each tent has 2 twin beds or a double bed [on request it is possibile to add a third bed for a child], en suite bathroom with running water in basin, flush loo and shower [hot water from solar pannel]. Mobile phones, cameras and video devices can be recharged directly in your tent. All tents are linked by an internal phone network. The camp also offers 2 family tents, each one with two double beds, which can sleep up to 4 adults.

The lodge is complemented by the restaurant, the lounge and by the unfailing campfire.

The location od Eco Lodge Africa is interesting in May, between June and July and some years between October and November when wildebeest should be passing through, however since this is just a transit zone herds do not linger on the spot more than a week or two and it is extremely difficult to predict when that will occur. What is interesting of Eco lodge Africa is the opportunity to enjoy night game drives, walking safari and birding [activities not permitted inside Serengeti N.P.] hence the lodge can be positively evaluated to complete a 4x4 safari itinerary.
